Curious if there's a simple ohm check you can do between specific ecm pins to test if the mod has been done? I have an ecm that isn't marked but is supposed to be modded. Thanks in advance, Scott

I believe the low Z drivers are the "peak and hold" type. Might be able to find some info searching for that? Not sure...

I dont have access to my car to check for you with a OHM meter, but I did remove the cover on my modified ECM and you can spot the non factory installled resistors tha have to be soldered for each driver.

I stands out well from the res of the installed componets.

Bob, I ended up opening up the ecm to verify it had replacement drivers installed. Are the parts available again to do them? If so, that's good news for a bunch of people.

If you can find a suplus electronics supply place, sometimes they will have Cherry Semiconductor CS-453, Motorola MC3484S4-2 or SGS Thomson L9336 drivers.
