So, finally finished up the Moser C clip eliminator, Moser axle, and Moser (TA Perf) rear end girdle install tonight and took it for a ride. All was good to go it seems. I crawled underneath the rear to take a last look and felt the rear end cover. Seemed warm for a 15 minute drive with some highway and some getting on it. I can honestly say I do not think I have ever felt the rear after driving it, but it seemed like it was warmer than it should be. Maybe I am just nervous after a modification and sweating it for nothing, but wanted to see what you guys thought. I checked the temp with my cheapie Harbor Freight non-contact laser them, and it read 78-80ish. It is about 53 degrees outside right now, and the rear cover was pretty warm to the touch.

Am I overly concerned for nothing?

i think your concerned over nothing. The new alum cover will disapate heat better as well. Your rearend is fine. LMFAO

Well, I have been working out. LOL! Thanks bro, just always nervous and over cautious right after spending some decent $ on a mod.
