i purchased a set of 15x10 GN repro. wheels, gbody parts states its made to take a 275/60/15. i would like that size but can i go 315 wide? anyone have any pictures of a 315/60/15 on their GN?

I’d rather not do trimming, I just want enough to fill the wheel well nicely. Gbody parts says it fits a 275/60/15 , I just have s friend of mine putting a big in my ear about s bigger tire.. I’d like to know what size tires everyone is running with these repro wheels.

315/50/15 MT DR's.

I run the 295/55 on that wheel. Clears on the inside no problem. Rubbed the lip a little on hard bumps so I put air bags in and that cured it. Recently, I rolled the rear lips so even if I let the air out, they shouldn't rub now.

What did you do to fit it? I assume notch and wheel tubs. I can fit a 325/50 or a 295/65 with the car low enough to tuck tire. The 30" height really makes it tough, and the 295/65 is tight in the stock massaged wheel tub.

i got that 295/65/15 i both the hoosier and mt on the stock rear in pretty good before going to the 9 inch.the hoosier is easier because its not as tall but the mt is a real 30 and pretty much fills up the well and near the frame,i had custom spacers made and ran an 8 inch rim with the right backspace to make it work, also had airbags but could take the air out if i choose.i trimmed and cut the fender also, but no notch and used the stock tubs.on my friends car we hammered the frame to get a full tuck in on the 295/60/15 but he was on a 9/10 inch rim.he ended up notching the frame and dropped back down to a 28.on my car i went to the bigger 315 pro but with a 9 inch and custom ends and the 315 pro inmo still really needs a minitub to really have a slammed stance with a full tuck in the rear but i went no faster dropping my rear down that low so i thinks its a waste for all work but some just like the look. ive run 26/28 inch tall tires on the front also but there will still be a rake.

my car has a slight rake as it is with whatever springs are on it now, so I’m assuming I should just stick with a 275/60/15, I just want to be able to bolt it up without modification. Going to run the ET street R tires. Here is what it looks like now with a 275/50/15

Not the best angle but I still have plenty of room for a taller tire. Just want the biggest I can go on this 15x10 wheel.

Fits just right in the rear and I can possibly go even lower all the way around a bit. Unsettled suspension in the current pictures. Doesent look like I’ll have any problem with rubbing. Can’t wait to see what it feels like here in a couple months.
