Well, my car is running but it cant build very much boost and hits 5 or 6psi in about 3rd gear and thats it!!! I have a F^*%ing CPT61 that cost more than a newborn child that should spool like lightning with a 2800-3000 stall and I have a 3200 stall, which should spool faster than a 44!! Anyways, the car is slow, very slow and its pissing me off, will Sod at Hye tech charge me alot, like an unreasonable amount or is he a fair guy?? Any ideas? thanks guys....

sod knows his stuff and he charges for his knowledge. i have about a year experience with t/r's and sod is down the street from me. i called him on the phone once for 1 powermaster question and he refused to help. he just told me to bring it in. i am big on customer service and will not spend my money there.
aside from that, archie and sod are blood related and all i hear is bad business practices going on between the two. that reflects their businesses.

Hey Lou, Ive called you for advice before and you are a good guy from what I can tell....Ziggy, I know you and Jose, you guys are cool and I have seen Sod's shop, I know hes no joke....im gonna try him and let you guys know what happens. Lou, i didnt threaten them, but I dont need too, im training to go to Pancrase, Pride and UFC...I got ur back if any buster trys anything...I hate cowards and their bull****, let me know if you need a bodyguard

Yeah Sod & I have helped each other out on occasion,When it comes to these Buicks no man is an land.,Cowards don't intimidate as much as irritate me.I'm still quite capable of defending myself & really don't condone violence.As far as your car goes sometimes you have to take two steps back to go one forward. All sorts of things can cause boost problems, Turbo's are basically add on devices that can't benefit unless all else is correct. The key is to be able to identify it & thats where experience helps. Yeah....but your old, like Wells!!!:biggrin: just kidding, I was just joking about the bodyguard thing, most guys can take care of themselves, but like I said I have your back and I am more than willing to help you with anything. You spent like 40 minutes on the phone just telling me different things I can do for my car, so in my book your a good guy. Ill let you guys know what happens.

I've got mixed feelings about Sod, on one hand it makes a great lawn, but on the....nevermind.
Actually, I dealt with Sod a few years back. He took some time to show me some stuff in his shop which was cool, but he also upped the price of the shortblock he said he would sell me by $1000 after I drove up from San Diego.
I did end up buying a turbo from him. 
One things for sure though, he knows stuff. You don't build cars that fast with luck.
