i asked to see the car so lets see what the reply is:rolleyes:

the vins on ebay also it does you no good if they just copyed the link like it looks like they did just look at the description the end of it sounds like a 5 year old wrote it and the middle sounds great

No feedback and they are trying to auction off that car. Id be careful of that one. Sounds like BS to me. Ask if they will end the auction early if you give them $40,000 for it.

"THIS IS A REAL GNX WITH ONLY 45000 ACTUAL MILES! THATS ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED NINETY FOUR MILES"

I'll give you $65,000.00 for that car! Thats one thousand, six hundred and five dollars.....

A GNX with no reserve???? hahaha!

Holy Crap! You have to give them credit for dredging up an auction from the past. This is GNX #320 which was on eBay in September, 2003. :o

The photos used are the exact same ones as the original auction. It had 1194 miles on it at the time, hence the quote:
"THATS ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED NINETY FOUR MILES" THIS CAR HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT IN CLIMATE CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERE. ALL RECORDS AND ACCESSORIES SINCE NEW INCLUDING. WINDOW STICKER, GNX FACTORY JACKET, ALL ASC MCLAREN FACTORY SPECIFICATION DATA, OWNERS MANUALS, GNX MANUAL

That was lifted verbatim from the original auction.

According to my records, the car was listed three times until the reserve was lowered and it sold for $36,766 on September 29, 2003.

heres the reply i got back
I'm really sorry for this late reply but I've been very busy lately and away from a computer. The price that I want to obtain is $20,000 (including shipping and insurance charges), to purchase the car you must make a $2,900 deposit. The price is considerably lower then others on the market because I need to sell it really fast.
The car has all the services done at the dealership. The vehicle was never crashed, abused or raced. I always garaged it and serviced it, kept very good care of it!. The vehicle is currently located in Tulsa OK, but unfortunately I am in Tucson AZ, planning to open a business here and I don't think I can come sooner then next month. However I can arrange for the paperworks from here and I can talk to a shipping company to deliver the vehicle to your address.
I think it's impossible to buy a vehicle for such a big amount without having an inspection first. So I had a look on eBay and I saw they could help us with this. Since the transaction worths a lot of money they've suggested to make the deal only through eBay so that we won't have any problems.
If you decide to buy all the papers are ready, just needed to be signed by you.
If you decide not to buy for a serious reason(of course after the inspection) then you can just ask the shipping company to send it back to my address with no extra cost(shipping is payed in advance by me).I think this is the fastest, safest and most fair solution we can have.
If you are interested to purchase the vehicle please provide me the following information's:
-your full name and address for shipping -your user Id
If I receive the requested information you will be informed by eBay during the next hours with details about your purchase.

Greetings filthy American pig! Nothing would please me more than to have you send $2,000 to my terrorist organization. We will use the money to strike at American interests abroad. God willing we will kill someone you know. Please wire the money to......"

I know - I just don't get how people fall for these things. They're always the same:

- Price is too good to be true
- The car is in location A, seller location B
- When you offer to go to location A or B there is always a reason why that cannot be arranged
- I will have the car shipped to you, for a deposit of $x,xxx
- No need to inspect the car, eBay will do that for you
