I don't get this CA thing????

Granted I am not the most politically educated person in the world........but explain this to me. I understand they called off (postponed) the recall election in CA. for the time being due to faulty voting machines (chad).

Wasn't it thru legal courses this recall was brought forth being the majority's (the people of California's) will? I ask these questions because I DON'T understand.

If this issue were to be addressed, which it should, should it not be at an appropriate time??? and not used as a vehicle to avoid the people's will?

Had this recall not happened, would this type of thing be tollerated next presidential election?

equal protection is what the Supreme Court used to select the last president. The recall is delayed while the judges decide if the different voting machines allow for equal protection of all voters

The election will possibly be delayed because of a lawsuit filed by the ACLU that claims that the ballot punchcard system is "unfair". The ACLU is nothing more than the lapdog of the Democratic Party and filed this lawsuit as a stall tactic in order to try and derail the recall election. Funny how the ACLU wasn't crying about the inaccuracy of the punchcard system last year as it carried "Red" Davis and his socialist agenda into a second term in office. Today it was announced that the 9th Circuit Court will revisit the issue of whether the election should be delayed or not. Hopefully they have been put under enough pressure that they will relent and allow the election to continue as scheduled.

Everyone in California needs to get out and vote. This state has been slowly sliding down the toilet for years now and it's long past time to do something about it while we still have something left to salvage. "Red" and the rest of the Democrats have forced a wealth redistribuition agenda down the throats of the tax payers long enough. Many of "Red's" policies would make old Karl Marx himself proud. The latest news is that illegals are going to get not only driver's licenses, but free tuition at community colleges. This is insane. As if the citizens aren't paying enough money to feed, clothe, educate, and provide health care for the bastards, now we get to pay for their college education!
