I Have 4 Problems Under The Hood. Not Sure What They Can Be, Please Help...

I'm having problems with my 87 GN when I step on the throttle.

1st Problem

The car starts to sputter/cut out when I begin to step on the throttle to take off from from a stop position. The car will give out for a couple of seconds, and then it will start to take off and drive normally until...

2nd Problem

The sputter will occur once again at WOT, and when the boost gauge starts to hit about 11 psi. or higher. It will do the same sputtering once or twice just like the same sputtering that happens when I am taking off from a stop position.

3rd Problem

At WOT the sputtering will occur as I described above, but I will also hear a popping/backfiring sound, which occurs when boost is at 11 psi or higher.

4th Problem

At the same time of the sputtering, popping/backfiring sound, as the boost builds up to 11 or higher, the turbo sounds like it has something rattling inside, seems something is loose inside the turbo, but it only happens when boost hits 11 psi or higher.

I would appreciate all helpful advice regarding this situation.

could be maf or coil pack or both try to disconnect wastegate and drive around and see how she drives with no boost at stop and wot as for turbo loose inside that could be another problem in its own
 
Crank sensor could be broken/rubbing/cracked...ask me how I know:redface:

I just fought all those symptoms and my crank sensor had rubbed on the 3 rings.

The car drives just fine when I disconnect the wastegate. I have no backfiring or sputtering when taking off from a stop position or when car is at WOT.

With that said, what does that tell me?

sounds like coil pack or module. when put under a heavy load such as boost then if you have a weak ignition system it will show under boost usually starting at 10 psi

Okay, now when you say module, you are referring to the Ignition Control Module, correct?
 
The rattling your describing sounds like it could be detonation!?!? Possibly lean pops? Have you checked fuel pressure yet? Could very well be the other suggestions as well, but rattling sound under a load often points to detonation with can be very detromental to the engine!
