I just bought 84 WH1 astro roof

I just purchased a 84 WH1 t-type with astro roof.

I have now joined the ranks of the hot-airs.


car has every option on it except the ultra rare c-68 climate control!

looked at that t-type in concord its very nice designer package. the only things that turned me away was the large amount of rust and not making full boost

all of the rust is in the doors and a small patch in the rear driver's side floor pan other than that it great.


of course i got the car for 1500bucks so that helps!

I think that the cat-converter is stopped up. the hotter it gets the worse it runs.

hey guys

I spent the good part of today cleaning and painting the trim on the car.

I swapped out the wheels with a set of the GNX clone wheels(gta wheels)

I actaully compounded the pait and got rid of some of the oxidation.

I also scrubbed the bumpers with some sos pads and got those boys shiny!

Update


Well i finally got the boost problem solved. The catalytic convertor was starting to come apart and was all stopped up!

So i gutted the cat and all is well!

I also replaced some vacuum lines as i was messing with it. I now have boost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I'm really starting to like this car. :biggrin:

Congrats... my first two TRs were hot air cars.... I miss my 85 WH1
