I really really need to learn as much as possible. any mistakes anyone has made when rebuilding their turbo car, ANYTHING. I am 15 and need to start getting preped for finishing the Sage Green Limited out in my moms driveway. It has no front end (front clip) just the frame rails and the wiring harness is pretty much all that is there right now I have many of the parts, I just need to get organized and have a plan. I have no idea where to even start. My motor is in my uncles brown turbo limited, my tranny is in mississippi with my uncle and is going to be rebuilt by Lonny Dyers from Cinci (hopefully). As it sits I have rolling chassis, body from the front of the doors back, no fenders hood or front fascia and a pathetic excuse for a car cover is trying to undertake the task of covering the frame rails and wiring harness but the rest of the car is exposed.PLEASE ANY THOUGHTS, OPINIONS, IDEAS, ANYTHING WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! THANKS

start with a good platform

if your sage green limited:cool: has rust/rot in the 1/4 panels doors, fenders, rockers, trunk, and looks like it could get worse in the next few years, ditch the car and find another with ZERO rust.

ive been through 10 turbo regals, the ones i have now do not have any rust, and are good plateforms for me in the future.

you will save money in the long run buying a nicer car that needs to be converted over, then trying to bring one up from the dead?

what is the condition of the current car you have?
