SignUp Now!Not everyone wants a cookie cutter V8 car. That's why I stuck with the TR's. If I want to be like everyone else, I'll buy a mustang. Hi-PSI's brother is getting ready to do the same thing with a 60's Malibu.Originally posted by azgn
if you happen to think he can transplant an efi Buick V6 into his Nova and come out ahead of the game vs buying a crate motor, I'll just stand by and watch
but by all means, go for it!

Spend the money and get a new custom harness from Casper's, though!
They are light, and have a good suspension setup as well.

Let me give some great advice -
when doing a transplant - buy a whole car.
It will save alot of headaches and scrambling for parts. Just find a rusted out no body wants it turbo Regal. You can buy them fairly cheap and part out the odds and ends when done.
Trust me on this...been there done that.

Light yes, suspension. Biggest POS i have seen.
The front suspension was my biggest complaint about my '63 Nova and my dad's '62 convertible.
We still have both cars, and another one awaiting restoration but I hate the suspension with a passion, along with the stock 1 barrel carbs.

sorry, i wasn't talking about the front end, hardly any old muscle cars had good handling suspensions, i meant its got a frame and decent set up in the rear.
how about a small block 302?
lots of dirty RPM to grab!
