Moving or not, I ordered an exhaust from gbodyparts on April 2 and my credit card was debited on April 4 for $740. It's been so long, I ordered the exhaust from FullThrottle and already got it a few days ago! Still nothing from gbodyparts! I sent numerous emails to cancel my order. I know his systems are down but I don't care anymore....

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

A lot of people have been defending him and that's fine. But how many of you have paid over $700 for a part you ordered over 3 weeks ago? You may feel slightly different if it were you in this situation.

I can feel your pain.....I ordered something recently from another vendor and this item was backordered. They didn't charge my card, but I was held in limbo for 5 weeks. I could have went elsewhere, but I felt committed to the first company.

I agree with you that you don't charge someone until you ship or "drop ship" an item.

He has made quite a move, but he shouldn't take one's money when he can't produce the items in a timely manner.

agree, we understand this is a good vendor but he should not charge a customer until ready to ship

I have, but I KNOW who I am dealing with and that I am getting what I ordered. Whereas with with some, you never know what you are getting, or if they will honor their product and service. There are No worries with this vendor.
To each his own though....

At this point I don't want the part, I want my money back! Has anyone had issues getting a refund from these guys before?

Did you try calling GBody?

The easy way is to Dispute the Charge with the Credit Card Company.
Even if its a debit card you can still do it.

I went on vacation and purchased a package only to find out i got screwed out of a hotel room. They overbooked. I called visa and canceled the entire charge! Free airfare and found a different hotel...

I got $5000 back from him last year. He IS good for it. I was buying a car and the deal fell through,so I got my $$$ back. It was not Brians fault.

Not sure if this link will work or not, but read the post right below yours in this section that SGRIM posted about GBODYPARTS and how Brian said he will refund money to people who placed orders before their move....

I dont think he would make that public if he planned on screwing you.

Although he did really piss me off on my order... I guess I wasnt specific enough though.

I wanted a power steering resevoir and all the lines needed for PS... and I like an idiot I ASSUMED that it would come with ALL the lines and the bracket to mount the resevoir.
Nope, $60 got me a dirty old resevoir with nasty old fluid in it and just the two lines dangling from it.

So no feed line, which pretty much delayed me getting my project out on the road the very first time.

Needless to say I am pretty damn pissed and I wont buy anything from them ever again unless I CANT find it anywhere else.

But again, Brian said I didnt mention in my post that I needed everything  (BS)

For sixty dollars and the condition that garbage was in, I should have got everything I could have ever needed.

Anyway man, I dont think he is going to screw you out of the money because he told SGRIM that he will be giving refunds... he would have to be pretty damn stupid to not give refunds to all those people.

I have ordered stuff from GBodyparts.com and bought things directly from Brian off of this board. Might as well be the same thing. He is a stand up guy. I ordered some things over the course of the past few weeks as well. I am confident I will get them as soon as they can. I ordered them knowing they were moving as well, and aware that some were having difficulties with their orders during the move, that's how confident I am in GBodyparts and Brian. Good things come to those that wait.

No matter the timeframe I am sure Brian and his staff will make it right by you.

Take care,
John

I and many others don't have time to sit around sucking our thumbs like retards waiting for the parts we paid good money for to be shipped. I don't care what he's done in the past, his rep. has definitely taken a hit with this one.

sounds like somebody needs some cheese with that whine. why don't you give the guy a chance to respond?

As has yours.

sheesh! I can understand alot of you wanting to take up for gbody.com. Hes been really good to deal with time and time again, including me. But the right thing to do, (and you all know it), would have been to get all orders shipped on time no matter what, and then shut the site down until ready again. Telling customers that parts ordered off the site will still ship as normal, when their not, is pretty unprofessional. I love my vendors that specialise in these cars, but it is still a business. (their treating it as a business, aren't they?) So good customer service should still be important no matter who you are. No doubt rosadod will be eventually refunded or taken care of one way or another, but some of you blowing this off and telling rosadod to just chill, "life happens" or "cheese with that wine" is flat out ignorant. Some of you may pee away $740 like nothing and never miss it, but thats a heck of alot of money to guys like me. The guys card was charged a month ago and he still don't have product, with no explanation other than "we're moving". thats bad business, and deserves bad feedback, system down or not.

Dude, you get it! Maybe these guys thought I left out a "." between the 7 and 4... nope! It's $740.00 that I was charged on April 5! I don't care what gbodyparts has done in the past, they f'd this one up! You don't take people's money now and think they'll be ok with getting the goods sometime down the road... that's not how it works! I'm still not trying to bad-mouth this dude too much... I just think he's made some suspect decisions lately and needs to face the music (his customers) and give an explanation... If he wants to regain some trust, that is.

I understand that everyone is quite upset and rightfully so. Let's think about this with a rational head........his business has been down for a month with NO money coming in and LOTS of money going out. Every day that goes by is another day with income for Brian. Do you think he is kicked back with his feet proped up avoiding taking NEW orders????? I think not.......

I know you are pissed, but bitching about it day after day does NOTHING but keep your blood pressure up. You will get your money back or your products.....one way or another.

So let me make sure I understand what you are saying here. You think anyone who can wait is a thumb sucking retard? So because anyone who paid for their parts and is waiting patiently they should be insulted by you?? That will definitely help your quest to get the things you need.

It appears to me you have much larger problems than the parts you are waiting for. Seriously get some help, it might not be too late for you.
