Ok im getting a 23 code,
intake air temp sensor out of range, low
my question is where is this little bugger? i cant seem to find it, the only thing i can think of is if its intergrated into the stock maf? can anyone verify this?

i just got my car back from having a head gasket replaced and now ive got a check engine light and this code, i do know before i dropped the car off i did not have any check engine light codes so something happened.
The wiring on this car is an absolute nightmare from the previous owner so i can see myself tracing a fun problem.

so my question is the location of the iat sensor or verification that its intergarated into the maf.

then once i find it any good ideas where to go next and how to test it?

Stock location is in the air cleaner box.
Modified, with a K&N, etc, it's usually pushed into a hole on the element.

The previous owner MAY have swapped to a newer MAF w/ 5 pin which I think integrates the IAT (I'm not 100% sure on that)
typical MAF will be 3pin
You've probably heard (or will hear) this a million times...invest in a Scan-Master asap

It is gray in color w/2/wire connection, normally located by the air cleaner,k&n, etc. On some mod'd eng.'s it may be found in the up-pipe.
