IAT Sensor Location

Since I am rebuilding I would like to know where is the best place to move this sensor.
I am running strictly E85 or Race fuel. I currently have the MAFTPRO and moving towards the speed density option but have seen other upgrades like the FASTXFI, / SD that are recommending the relocation of the IAT. I just removed my dual nozzle Alky kit and would like to install the IAT on the up pipe. Anyone doing this instead of drilling thru the plenum?

You can put it in either location in your case and you won't really notice a difference.

If you go sd2 has to be before alky but for fast doesnt matter. Even.w sd2 you can tune around.it being after ally

He's not using alky.

However, it is not required that the IAT sensor go before the alky nozzle with the SD2 setup, just recommended. I would recommend the same with a FAST. It can be tuned around in either case, so not a big deal.

Plenum mounting would be a heck of a lot easier. Remove it... drill, tap, and reassemble. and it's easy to plug off if the setup changes.
