One of the things I like the most about visiting my folks - besides the location - is going through my dad's stack of car mags. I ran across an article on the Callaway Corvette's history and these paragraphs stood out.
This is not meant as a blanket slam against Callaway or Corvettes, but look at what they had to do to turbocharge the L98 for mass consumption.
How many times have we heard, "Imagine how fast I'd be if I put a turbo on my engine?" Apparently, even Chevrolet thought it would be easy. Maybe the junk little Buick V-6 isn't so junk after all...
