Got my vacumm brakes finished up today and took it for a spin, wastegate arm disconnected because I am waiting on a rod end...long story. Anyway it threw a code 31 after about 5 minutes of riding around. I also hooked the wg solenoid up right as it was not even connected to the turbo or wastegate earlier this week and today was the first time I drove it after doing that. I will check the ecm/sol fuse also. Thanks guys:)

No it will not set a code.....

Check your WG solinoid, and the wires/connector that goes to it.

Found the problem, fuse blown! Now to find what caused the fuse to blow:( Anyone got suggestions/tips where to start. Take into account I just did the vac brake conv.

The first place you should look is your brake switch. This is the power feed that connects your wastegate solenoid (ecm-sol fuse) and your tcc lockup solenoid.
Check the brake switch.
New fuse.
If it pops, unplug the plug on the driver side of the tranny, and your wastegate solenoid plug.
Good luck!
