Heads are the same for hotair and intercooled...Should be the 8445 heads...Crank and rods are the same...Pistons are usable...The block is slightly different, but is okay to use...You can still drill and tap the front of the 84/5 blocks for the turbo oil return if you convert to the 86/7 setup...The intake setup is different, including the throttle body, different accel, tranny and C.C. cables, exhaust manifolds and crossover is different, DP is different...Accessories and brackets are all different(V-belt on 84/5 to serpentine on 86/7)...Wiring harness is different...If you use the 86/7 harness, you then need the 86/7 coilpack/ign mod., crank sensor, MAF sensor, and maybe some other sensors and on and on and on...
It can be done, but piecing it together can get get $$$ real quick...Almost cheaper and easier to find a complete LC2 motor with harness and do the swap...
