"Improved" intercooler?

I did check the search function..no go.
I was reading the GNX brochure on another site, which really seemed like a ASC ad, and it said the X comes with an improved turbo and intercooler. I know of the enhanced turbo, but what made the intercooler better than a GN? Thanx.

Correct...more fins per inch make for a larger surface area for cooling thus lowering the temperature of the air charge creating more horsepower! Also each intercooler had its owner serial number displayed on the sticker.

not the same as the TA-------i can't remember the exact count but the fin count of the TA is just about half the difference of the gn to the gnx--------sort of like if the gn was 45 and the gnx was 60 the ta was about halfway like 53---------if you really want to know the count i will be glad to get it for you .............RC
