Have Razor's kit, been useing it for about 3 year's. I did a test and tune today and was getting knock. I turned the turn on point down from 15 to 7lbs. and had to turn the initial all the way up. i also have the blue knob all the way up. I have a duel nozzle set-up. Car has a gtp70, 83's, pte stock location, ported iron's, 218/218 flat tappet cam, older FAST. This sound right, anyone else have to turn it this high? thanks, boost was set at 22 as well as wot timing. pump was fixed about 18 months ago and I don't race much any more.

if its the same pump for 3 yrs i would recommend sending it in to julio for a look. you should send it in every 2 yrs to have him go over it

Or buy a new pump. That way your starting with a new part vs a repaired part. I'm always open to test the pump for flow and pressure no charge.. and tell if it has an issue. But this is hard to do over a keyboard.

The Initial controls on my kit are to be left alone. You hit the test button, watch consumption, look at knock. If something changes.. then its time to check what changed.

Ever heard this.. guys car runs great.. tuned.. etc.. one day it starts running bad.. goes to a mechanic.. first thing the mechanic does is open the hood and start turning the distributor to see if the problem goes away... now creating more problems than replacing the bad spark plug. See if the alky kit is tuned in.. leave the controls alone. If something changes.. dont move the controls trying to remedy a problem, all that does is create more problems.

Call me Monday and i'll have you run some tests.. worse case is you need the pump replaced. You just may just have trash in the head of the pump.. and no amount of turning knobs will fix that. If the pump is not leaking, 99% of the time its trash contamination.
