what would be a better choice for me. I would like to eventually run 11.50's and change to a bigger turbo....would a front mount be a wiser choice or the precision stock mount unit. car ran 12.99 in the heat at 21lbs in the current configuration. what are the benefits/disadvantages of a front mount?

I was running a CAS V4R but recently changed to a PTE front mount. IMO the stock locates don’t get enough air flow. The down side of a front mount is cooling may be an issue. With my install I also put in an alum rad and dual fans.

I have a stock throttle body, 67 turbo stock location mease (15 row)intercooler with a
2 -1/2" neck. In the 1/8th at 20psi race gas alky off, I ran a 7.43 in warm(70-80*) weather; in fair (around 65*) but not what i call cool weather at 21.5 psi my last 2 passes was 7.24 and a 7.12. Here in hot south GA. So i would say thats between 11.40's - 11.20's Lookin for hi 10s.

The precision SLIC would be a little better that mine.

but so far its gettin the Job done I'll post back after i make a good cooler weather run at about 24,25psi of boost.

get this one a great price and great performance. i got this one. Intercoolers -Stock Location

i have the gbody parts alum. radiator with the stock fan already. i was looking at the 23 row stock location intercooler. it seems that would get me to my goal if i'm reading it correctly?

How much timing did you run, what fuel? If your heads and intake aren't ported, its going to take more boost than that to go 11.50. It can be done with the IC you already have.

i had the TT race chip for 110 and respective timing......i also was planning on porting the stock heads when a redo my motor with a bigger plenum and TB.
