What are your suggestions. I have to out way my options. I have a Precsion front mount right now. But my intercooler pipes have their fair share of road rash and dents in them. The one from the turbo to the cooler shot off in a pass and I basically ran it over. So I made up one with U-bends from a chrome cold air kit for a 5L Mustang. I was considering the BA one until I saw one at BG basically explode. I snapped a pic of it somewhere in my 1000shots taken at BG because I have never seen that happen to a intercooler before. Should I just get new pipes and leave well enough alone, or get the RJC big boy??????? My temps in my cooler are about 150 to 160 at the end of a pass( how much can I credit my homemade intercooler pipe for that is unknown), but with the alky just turned on to cool things down I am at 91 at the end of the run.
 
We have been happy with RJC's cooler. I looked at Otto's BA. I thought it was an early build. IMO the welder wasn't set high enough for good penetration. The weld appeared to be laying on top of the aluminum. I hope they would have corrected the issues since then.

Dont let the BA you seen in BG weigh on your choice.
That was the FIRST one they made almost 2 years ago.
There has ben some changes to them since then.
IMO the use a better core now also

I did run the RJC (Thanks to Jason for lending it to me) and running 35#s of boost i saw intake temps raise no more than 35-40* on a 9.20-9.30 run
 
The fastest TSM car in the land uses the RJC intercooler!:smile:

His 109 block has been in the 8's with it in Outlaw trim.
 
Remeber this, RJC supports the board:wink: RJC has always supported the community and given back....

There are alot of good I/C's out there right now, I wish there was more of a comparison data out there to go by.

Hopefully next year we will have some test data to show, a test car is in the works:wink:
 
RJC all the way. Hell Dicks car has one on it and its run 8's
