i was wondering how you can clean out the inside of a stock intercooler? does anyone know of solvents that i can poor in the neck and slosh around the just poor back out? also if i port out the neck how much material should i remove before it starts to get too weak?

You can use thinner or throttle body spray. I like thinner. Make sure to rinse with water afterwards and let dry.

Smooth the intercooler necks out....Dont hog them out.

One of the cheapest solvents around is plain old gasoline! Just put it in your neighbors car after you are finished;)
