SignUp Now!I spoke with him via PM about porting my GN1 heads.... I just can't come up with the money fast enough to get them done in time for races in May ....We kinda know Bryan. Times will tell.

I've heard different numbers but between 185-205 on the intake side. But guys are fast as hell with those irons. They work. How well do out of the box champion irons flow?
My TA SI heads flow 247ish on the intake and 211ish on the exhaust
Thank you for the numbers! Was that work you did yourself or done by a shop? And if by a shop, what was total cost in the heads? I think my buddy has near 4K with rockers included in a set of aluminum champion aluminum heads.Same GN1's after runner work, unshrouding the valves, and 5 angle valve job.

I had TA do Level 2..possibly 3 porting and then had a guy local that used to do Stage engines for Ohio George back in the day do some more work on them. He just did some more cross sectional work and tweaks in some of the high speed flow areas.Your exhaust flows more than most intakes do ...
Just some advice, so far it's ALL bowl work. Don't do any polishing, it's a waste of time.Loving this thread as I'm porting my heads right now. Thinking of having them flowed to see what a rookie port job does.

Also when you're done, have a GOOD valve job done.
Not familiar with that term but if you're asking size of throat in comparison to valve size, I would say the throat is about 90% - 95% the size of the stock valve. Next week I'll take pics and measurements. I need to maximize the port so I can replicate it and get my heads finished up.What is your valve to throat percentages?
