Is it just me or does there seem to be more single guys than girls?

..on a side note, I noticed were most of you guys live, and that also plays a roll. If you guys came down to Sunny South Florida, you would be pleasantly surprised about what you would see.

"If you appear taken, by hanging out with other girls (who might just be friends) that alone is an attraction to them." I found that very true. Never failed. I was flying home from my honeymoon with my wife sitting beside me and a woman on the plane hit on me. Seems like they think "he must be something if she's going with him" or something like that. Guys kind of think, gee, I hope he passes out so I can scoop her before he wakes up.

You know, I had a tough time with girls in high school. That is, up until the time I started being "just friends" with some girls. One of my best friends in HS was a girl who I met because our parents worked together. As much as I wanted to date her, after awhile I accepted it wasn't going to happen. But, girls who are in a couple take on the role of matchmaker. If a "taken" girl has guy friends, she will try to match them up with someone. That girl "friend" could easily be your ticket to the good life.

I guess the point I am making, is that connections, and who you know is important. Just because that girl over there doesnt appear to be your type, doesnt mean you shouldnt talk to her. Maybe she has a single friend that is your type. Same with girls that are in a relationship. Just cuz they are tied down to someone, doesnt mean they cant be your friend. If you can befriend some of the ones that are taken, they will not rest until they find you someone. Couples want to make their friends into couples. Its just the nature of things. And girls are much better matchmakers than guys, so dont think for a second that your guy friends are going to really try to help you hook up with someone.

yeah that all sounds very true...good advice you guys

yeah location really does suck...there's NOTHING to do out here and a 10 person party with alcohol is like a MAJOR deal around here...oh to be in south florida or west coast california right now

i guess i am just trying too hard because i am still hurt by what my ex did to me...it's gonna take alot of time...

on the upside though i am going to a major college party tomorrow night...hopefully something happens there...i am bringing my car down there so that might help a bit
