Is my knock sensor broken??

I took the plug off and i thought somethin seemed funny.. it kinda wobbled a little bit.

you can wiggle the white plastic part.. the metal part stays solid but the other part can wobble about.. WTF??? is this thing broken? is that normal?

gmparts direct says $26 but i cant wait that long.. autozone has em for $35...

what other cars come with the same sensors stock? im gonna go to the u pullit and get one for three bucks..

easy to get to on a series I or II??

If the upper plastic part on the sensor moves it is probably broken. I would get a new one.
