Is their anything that NEEDS to be rollerized in a 10 second car for the 2004r, other than the plastic piece on the rear planetary?

Does rollerizing increase strength?

Does it increase reliability?
 
I say at a minimum the Lo rev center support and the forward/OD center support

In a 10 second car the 200 will work but will not last as long as a 400...its gonna need freshened up way before the 400 would...IMO

IMO it does not increase strength. The 200 is a internal leaky animal. Rollerizing helps to remove wear items that can open up clearance and increase leakage. The Low center and rear planet is the only must do. 200 is very reliable if built correctly can provide years of service to low 10s.

He has been more than patient with tons of tech phone calls over the past year from me.

He actually has my 200 right now and is gonna bring it back to life from my failed attempt at a rebuild.
 
Well its actually going to be used in a 11 second car at the most, just wanted to see what the opinions were and make sure I would be safe.
 
Bearings do not reduce parts breakage ,but they do provide more efficient power transfer between internal rotating components,they reduce friction and the resultant horsepower losses the friction consumes.all the thrust in a 2004r is towards the rear of the case.all metal and plastic thrust washer points(except the pump to overdrive drum and center support to direct drum )take a beating and are under capacity imo. it is the difference between the least efficient and the most efficient manners.
