It looks like the snout of the damper is a little short. It positions the pulley ~1/16th off and the reluctor ring is a little deep in the sensor. I can see where it was touching, and I can also see wear on the edge of the belt. Funny, did not notice this before. :confused: So I checked it against a stock damper and sure enough, 1/16 off.

Looks like I'm gonna have to have a shim made.

You can shim it outward. Call whoever sold you the balancer and get a shim
