I hope this is just a sign of a blown headgasket and nothing seriously wrong with my engine....First i will start off by saying a few weeks ago i was smelling antifreeze while my car was warming up and at idling the car was running ruff until i clean it up by racing the engine for about a minute or so....but now i notice antifreeze coming out of my turbo header flange..... I had a blown headgasket before but this is the first time i seen it come out of the header...

My local O'Reilly's will loan out the tool for a cooling system pressure test....

It's a small bicycle pump with a radiator cap on the end. You pump up 16 or 20PSI in the cooling system then waits. Just like a couple of deadly deadly honeydews.....

Usually it's a white smoke that comes out, but clears up about 5 min or so... My coolant looks good still have the light green color no oil mixed with it.. I will do a pressure test this weekend

Time for you to back away from the bong!:D:p

what about what bryan said. Is it a watercooled turbo? also what does your oil look like?

pull the plugs if you you have one or 2 that look brand new thats the cylinder the antifreeze is going in and creating the white smoke

If the hg's leaking coolant it wont take long before you over heat. That will be imminent.

As far as coolant leaking from the header turbo flange, that's preposterous. Every car drips condensation from the flange on cold start ups. The steel is condensing as it is heated.

Have you done a re torque on the head gaskets?

Rick

Sure its not condensation? Mine spits a little water while it warms up at the exhaust leaks :p

Do you have any GM seal tabs floating around the the cooling system? sounds like your engine is a good candidate for a couple.

Since my oil pan plug was leaking around the gasket alittle, this is what i found when i walked in the garage...
