Is this normal?

At about 50 to 60 mph if I am cruising i will start to hear a loud whistling, even if the throttle is held at the same position. It will periodically come and go as if something (the turbo possibly) is catching air and whistling. Almost like if you stated blowing on top of a bottle or something but a high poitched whistle. Any ideas?

That's just the turbo warning you that you are exceeding the 55mph speed limit. Nothing to worry about!

Wheeew! I just got this car and was wondering if this was normal. Sounds like a damn jet if i really get going over 80 or so. thanks for the info.
