My buddy owns this dealership. On occasion he lets me drive some of the cars. I went up to look at this last time he had it. It was traded back in... before the snow flies or SALT I would love to drive it. Sure is PURDY

Nice things about a clone = Cheaper to buy (generally), No worries if it gets stolen. (if you can get classic insurance for a clone?)..

For years I chashed a 69 lemans convertible that was cloned into a 455 JUDGE.
That car turned my screws in a big way. The kids were young & money was tight.. I was only a few thousand away and it got sold off. :frown:

I use to work for him on saturday's.

So many customers would not take the cars for a test ride.
Guess who did.. I drove so many it was great!

Drove an old hemi dodge with dual quads. Scary in old 63 Polara.

Drove a built 454 70 chevelle SS. The customer had a mustang for trade.
After I nailed it up the road We both looked at each other with no words spoken. Just big :smile: on our faces.

Another was a GTO with a HUGE HONKIN BBC built with brodrix heads. It was a convert. Real scary cause you could feel the body flex. That should have been built with a cage.

Another was a turbo Buick. looked stock but had some goodies on it. Got coffees in this car. I was all over the road so was the coffee.

Good stuff! Never got to drive old muscle, but a bunch of new Porsche's etc when I worked at a body shop as a kid. Coolest thing I think I ever drove there was a brand new 454SS truck when they came out, but this guy had $$$$. Built a different motor for it with aluminum rods, etc, and a supercharger. Was a sick truck!
