I just purchased a motor from someone on the board and it has the following
Here's what I have.

Fully Built 109 with .020 over JE pistons, Pro-gram steel mains 2 center's, stock crank 10/20, stock rods all done, ARP main studs, SPS rod bolts, motor was balanced and is within a few grams on each cyl.

Dale Cherry ported and polished Irons, Bigger valves, Viton seals int and exhaust, de-shrouded around the valves. 100lb comp cams springs, Receiver grooved for 1007 felpro's These heads have not been flowed but were on a 10.0 car before I got them.

Hand ported intake manifold matched to the heads.

Modified front cover with a stock meling oil pump, setup for external oil cooler.

Comp cams 212/212 non-roller cam, degreed in.

F.A.S.T 60lb injectors.

Turbo is a TE-61

Fully built 200r4 built by Otto in CT. Stage Right Transbrake, all the good internals, stock pan, alto red clutches, alto wideband, th200 servo, ect ect. Just gone through and replaced all the seals and cluches. No more than 5k on this. Also has a Vigalante 0 pump 3200 stall single disc too.

I am getting rid of the FAST injectors and buying some 60 siemens
I was thinking of adding Alky injection and maybe changing the turbo

What do you guys think. I would like a streetable 10.70-11.0 car with slicks

Any help appreciated.

Depending on what intercooler you go with, and what converter you are wanting to run, personally if it were my combo, there are two turbos that I would consider. Especially with your goals of streetable 11.00 - 10.70.
These two.

Or this one.

Here's why. With the 7080R, you won't have to run as much boost to get into the 10.70s with your combo. You will need slightly more stall converter (3500-3600 flash) but you will have a ton more room to grow. (around 70 more fwhp) With your current converter, you could send it in to have it loosened up and it would work. I would think that 10.70's could be reached running around 22psi with this combo on alky and pump gas. If you want to keep it on the street and want the quickest spool up, then opt for the .63 A/R turbine housing. (p/n THB3-80)

The second choice PT6776RS (p/n 6776RS, some call it the GT6776RS) would give you better response, quicker spool up and less stall requirements (3200 flash) but you will have to run slightly more boost to reach 10.70s. Your current converter should work great. I would think that you would need to run 25-26psi to reliably reach 10.70s. Both turbos will reliably get you to where you want to be, one with more potential than the other. Go with the .63 A/R turbine housing as well, for quickest spool up possible. (p/n THB3-76)

If dual bb is out of the question, then I would be looking at either a PT6776S (p/n 6776S) journal bearing also with a .63 A/R housing and a 3500 flash stall converter, or a T64E (p/n 6676E) with a .63 A/R and the same 3500 flash stall converter (also known as a TE45a). The 61 turbo would have to be run on kill (29-32psi) in order to maybe reach 10.70s in a full weight Turbo Buick, unless the car weighed 3300#s with driver, then it could be capable of reaching 10.70s. The highest hp rated 61 is the PT6176S (p/n 6176S) which is rated to support around 680fwhp. I would love to have that motor combo on my own car, as it would be a lot of fun on the street with a PT6776RH turbo.
Hope this helps.

Depending on condition of your 61 and mileage, you should be able to get somewhere in the $500-$650 range for it. Pics really help when trying to sell a used turbo. As far as pricing, you might want to give one of the PTE vendors a call. Hartline Performance, RJC Racing, Full Throttle, any of those guys can hook you up. Don't forget the water coolant line kit if you do go with DBB turbo, as well as a DBB specific oil feed line, unless you are running the PTE oil filtration system.
