Yes, it will fill up everything all the way to the check valves. (and past them if you have a bad valve).

Where did you get that?

To make this work don`t you have to release the rockers arms on both heads to close the valves or do you stop the exhaust up some how ?

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Nope - you do not really.

You'll be amazed at how much pressure the TB butterfly holds back.
The primary tested points are everything up to the TB.
Now - if you manually open the Tb throttle valve - then ok....probably.

But first things first
Find all your leaks on the regular stuff before worrying about the plenun, intake etc

Let's not start loosening up valves n such and creating more headaches before you know what you really want to test

It "works" really well testing all the rubber lines, the vacuum hardines, PCV (It will blow by - trust me); IC; IC hose connections, IAC seal; TPS seal; rubber Ts; rubber connections ; the check valves etc etc

Use some "Snoop" or similar type product.
Or- Kiddie Blow Bubbles from Dollar Tree.

Dawn dish soap and water in a pinch - but when it dries, it leaves a hard mess on the aluminum and will discolor stuff

At first glance it looks like a pretty cool tool, for not a lot of $$...

I have one an love it.also the kids bubble works great. An you don't need alot of air in the intake to find leaks.I hook it up an hand turn the crank from the front(fmic)allows this, till pressure starts to build. an never no more air then you boost. Soap away, zip tie away:cool:

86 Regal W-11/CC-1T Type

So i will be fine just hooking this thing up without removing the rockers ......unless i need to check the TB for leaks?

Back the rockers off and you'll be testing everything from all 6 intake valve faces back to the MAF pipe.

That tester you have doesn't have a regulator or relief valve on it so MAKE SURE you don't go greater than 25 or 30 PSI or so. The last thing you want is to blow out an intake gasket or something that cost time and money to fix while trying to test something.

I put a reg together to make sure i don't inject to much air. But i still need to get the rear seal fixed before i can test my leaks. Guess it gives me time to get a powerlogger ;)

The rear seal, as in the rear main (crankshaft) seal? If so, you won't be putting pressure to that.

So should i just remove the rockers to test the whole system or just test without first? Sorry for all the questions i just want to make sure i get this right
