The turbo can be "clocked" to allow access to the nozzle. The piping would have to be fabricated to make it from there to the front of the car then back to the intake.
The issue is that turning up the boost with a turbo that is already near it's maximum efficiency would be just a hot, hot, hot air pump. You can get an adjustable wastegate. The rod on the end is threaded to allow for shorter or longer travel of the wastegate.
Another option is to get the intake, headers, turbo, intercooler, ecm, and other assorted goodies from an 86-87 car. Same block, do a search for 85-87 conversion. Something will pop up. This has also been done many times.
An alcohol kit is affordable and will reduce the temperature of the intake charge while raising the potency of your pump gas. - must do for a turbo car.
