What you did was just prove out the fact that if you are a novice with these cars, enlist the help of a pro and have him help you learn about them.

Yup pretty much. Give me an old v8 with a carburetor and I'm good to go. This fuel injection stuff is all new to me so still learning it. No shame in admitting that.

Fuel injected, V6, first gen American computer controlled, "can't believe we got the go ahead to build this wack-a doodle Buick", seriously hard to diagnose, persnickity beauty of a car...... thank goodness for the guys who have the love, resolution , talent and mostly, the determination to learn all about these cars.

I have the love, but I just can't afford the time.

Thank you Lou Czarnota, for making my TR the BEST and MOST FUN vehicle I have EVER owned, if you quit, I'll kill you!!!!!!!

My 72# injectors are low impedance and my ECM isn't modded either , I need to know if this causes running problems when under boost , Im not hyjacking this thread , but I have put a WB on mine and see pig rich conditions when boosted but driving around it runs like a top , Im trying to find out about the ecm non modded if it will do this or not .

Guy I took mine to said the MAF was main cause of mine running very rich, but could have been with the injectors also. Said the drivers in ECM were getting hot because they did not match. I would change injectors ASAP or mod your ECM for those injectors. It will cause your drivers to quit and then injectors don't pulse and bad stuff could happen as result
