The AF when idling is between 14.5 to 15.1 but when I normally drive the car the AF goes to 9.5 or 10 with a pound or two of boost an stays there until I make 8 or more pounds then it goes to 11.5 to 12. Sometimes the car acts like it wants to stall after normally driving because its running so rich. I have 55lb injectors and bought a street chip off the board for 55lb injectors an 18 degrees of timing is what I was told. I have the 1 to 1 rise in fuel pressure verified withhold mounted gauge. Any ideas or help would've appreciated

Any vacuum leaks? What is your block learn? How old are the injectors?

aaron

Checked an rechecked all vacuum possibilities. Fixed two leaks an now show none on my boost gauge that also reads vacuum. My Block learn was I believe 120? Have to go start the car to check but I looked up scan master numbers and everything was in check. Iac was dirty so I cleaned that and reset tps. And I'm not sure how old the injectors are since they were in the car when I bought it.

I don't know how to pull fuel or add fuel :( I'm new to fuel injection, mostly have had carburetors which are easy compared to all this haha

if the BLM is below 128 the ECM is pulling fuel if its above its adding fuel
an exhaust leak will confuse the 02 sensor and add fuel the ecm senses a lean condition.

Ill recheck the BLM, but I've read there is nothing you can do to change it if its low or high am I correct? I don't hear or see any exhaust leak so if I do have an exhaust leak it would have to be very small one.

Would a small exhaust leak cause it to run that rich though? Also how do you pull or add fuel yourself? I've read on here that people do it, do you have to have a certain chip an laptop or what?

You mentioned that you found 2 leaks and fixed them... If so, check your static fuel pressure, re-set the ECU by disconnecting the orange cable at the battery, reconnect it after a few minutes, start the car, drive around for a few minutes, get the car nice and warm and then check to see where your BLM's stabilize at idle and at cruzing speed. If your BLM's are way over or way under 128 you still have an issue. Every car has a different sweet spot for the BLM's. You'll be lucky to keep it at 128 but it is possible. If you have zero exhaust or vacuum leaks it could be something as simple as adjusting your fuel pressure.

I've messed with fuel pressure all day long today because I thought that is what it was. Tried fuel pressure from 35 lbs to 40 lbs with line off then took line off an set back to base line of 43 an plugged line back on an dropped to about 36 or 37 lbs. When I would change the fuel pressure up or down it seemed like the AF would either go anywhere between 15 to 17 i had a hard time keeping it around 14.7
So if my BLM is way above or below then how do you fix it?

When you played around with the fuel pressure did you re-set the ECU? If I recall correctly, you are supposed to re-set the memory of the ECU anytime you adjust the fuel pressure so it can "learn" the new setting.

Never tried resetting the computer after adjusting the fuel pressure, never though you had to? But it makes sense the computer has to relearn the new fuel pressure.

the chip is probably programmed that way.

whose chip is it?

Bob

Talk to Eric at turbo tweak and get yourself a real chip that u can + - fuel and timing

Gotcha didn't know that. Will have to get in contact with Eric then. I believe it's in the chip as well.
