OMFG!
OK I get the injectors pulled tap them a bit and a small piece of grit comes out of one of them. Blow them out with the air hose(low pressure) and put it all back together. Have my girlfriend turn the key to give the system pressure and it goes to 20 psi, no leaks and the pressure is staying at 20  Then I tell her to turn the key off and back on, it jumps to 40 and the damn return starts leaking almost spraying:mad: . The regulator has now been crossed threaded. I have no idea how in the hell that happened but I have nobody to blame but self (wish it was the girlfriend that did it, I would feel better about myself right now).

It never ends does it.:o

Thanks alot guys.

I would think that a dribbling inj would drive down BL and INT numbers as ecm tries to trim fuel. And drivability alittle rough during light throttle times.
:)  :) :)

Sorry to hear about your problems......
After you replace the regulator now, and possably the return line, if you still have a problem, diagnose it .
Energize the fuel system and at the time of turnin off the igniton, pinch off the return line and see if the pressure drops, if it dos'nt ,then a regualtor is the culpret. If it does, then do the same for the supply line. If it doesnt drop then, the fuel pump is bleeding back. If it still drops, pinch off both lines simutaniosly, if it still drops, the you gots a bad injector. It probly isnt stuck wide open, rather the seat is dirty/damaged. If so, you can send em out to be cleaned or replaced, either way.
Just my o2...

The correct way to install fpr hand tighten the fuel line first than tighten the bolts to the rail than tighten the fuel line ask me how i know. Now you have a major job.

Well lucky for me the fuel line nut is ok and threads fine. The regulator can easily be tapped its not as bad as I thought it was.

Thanks for your help fellas.

Great! With good luck like that, you should go buy some lottery tickets! :)

Be sure the o-ring is in okay shape and greased well when you reinstall....both of them....that is where the sealing comes from...not the quality of the threads (not to any great extent, anyway)
