What do I need to do a compression test?
A compression testor/gauge... If the valves are bent, the compression will be off on that cylinder...

No... a bunch of bent valves, I would guess...
If the valves were bent it would not have any compression, No?
So, what are normal compression numbers?
The OEM pushrods are weak. I bet you have bent pushrods. If the valve god smacked you would have a dead hole.
Plus its making a racket=bent pushrods.
Pull your valve covers off. And pull your rocker shafts off. Then pull out the pushrods and check them on a flat surface like a piece of glass.
I have seen these motors bend pushrods and not hurt the valves. With oem pushrods.
