Hey TB Family, ok just drove car after replacing exhuast manifold gaskets drove car and at WOT according to am boost gauge about 14-16psi I see KR from 2.....to 7...... but car is spinning tire at the time and no tie down on car or the rjc brace could this be real KR or false due to other? Running BP 93, no alky, And yes I have laid off WOT til I get it right. Thoughts? Thanks

Tire spin will cause knock. You need to get up to around 50-55mph and roll into WOT. If the knock comes in and continues to climb it is real.

Is that the same amount of boost you were seeing before replacing the gaskets? Knock is progressive so seeing the progression like that, and not just going from 0 to 10 instantly, it could be legit. Is your Fuel psi increasing as your boost is increasing 1 to 1?

Pittsburgh kid has a point!! That KR is progressive which usually means it's the real deal.....Double check your work.. Look to see if scanmaster numbers are the same as before changing gaskets provided they were corrrect to begin with....Do you have a gauge to verify your pumps not falling off under boost???
