leaking antifreezemy car

car has been leaking antifreeze.every once in a while ill see a tiny puddle under the car. not in the front of the car though, towards the back of the motor. i crawled under the car and saw a spot of antifreeze on the lower control arm. i dont hink its the heater core. maybe a headgasket:? were is the most common palce to blow a headgasket on these cars. only reason im thinking headgasket is because i put the motor together myself . its got about 25,000 on it. anybody tia

mine does the same thing,

I purchased the 4pc heater hose kit from Kirbans performance, the Antifreeze bleeds through the middle ring of the rubber...

You did not say on which side of the motor the leak seems to be dripping.? If it is the pass side, your symptoms would be similar to a few heater control valves I have replaced that leak at random times. Hard to catch that sucker in action sometimes!

I'd like to know where the heater control valve is. It must be a big secret that you guys can't post it here, please post here so others know....thx. Even a pic would help.

Is it the valve that plugs into the heater core sticking out of the fire wall? Thx in advance.

You have two heater hoses coming out the heater core on the fire while. Trace them back and you will find the "heater control valve".. Some are metal, some are plastic.. It is a small contraption with a vacuum line running to it..

Go to Autozone or similiar auto store and borrow a "pressure tester".. You can pressurize the system and find the leak.
