I have examined the weatherstrip around the glass, it *appears* to seal tightly and not have any imperfections. What's the next thing to look for? Garage is full for 2 more weeks, may have to resort to GASP car cover.

I went to have my seal replaced because it was cracking and it had seen better days. I got it fixed, took it home and the day I brought it home it started raining. Got in my car and there was a puddle on my passenger seat.

Took it back, and the guy found out that the drainage lines were pinched behind the fender.

That cost me a pretty penny.

So he had to pull the fender to fix them? Ouch. Guess I need to look in my shop manual for a diagram.

All the drainage lines are accessible.

Mine was pinched by the bolt that holds the body panel on.

Not from the factory but when the front end was done after a collision. Tube would fill up and back the water onto the passenger seat. :(

You can see the rubber tubes up front when opening the door and looking near, just above, the hinge area.

If pinched just cut the tube since pulling the bolts out isn't easy and the line will be crushed flat anyway.

They run down the hollow part next to the windshield, you know where the cracks start.

In the back they drain into the fenderwell wheel area and can be found pretty easily.

When I bought my car one tube out back was draining into the trunk.
