everytime i start my car after it sits for a while, like a few hours, it sounds like the lifters bled down for a second just after start up. sound like a sewing machine. they are flat tappet sealed pwer lifters. oh, they are new lifters and 208 cam.

Whos brand 30 w is it and what grade SL, SM, etc.

You have the oil covered so your good there.
Did you check your valvetrain geometry when install.
I.e- rocker tip to vlve tip contact pattern and get the appropriate pushrods or check and see if the stockers would do th ejob?

yep, everything was good. pushrods were all put back where they came from. rockers were torqued properly. i took my time as i did not want to do that job again. im debating if i should just go roller when i put the ported heads on. just didnt wanna spend a grand right now. i'm stumped unless somehow they are crappy lifters. dont mean to go off the subject turbo nasty but how do you like your pats converter? i just ordered a 10" 3000.
never thought of that. i'll change the filter to see what happens.
