lock up vs non- lock up

noob question here....
what is the differenece between lockup and non lockup
upgrading turbo and need new tc

The lock up feature is used to get better milage and it reduces tranny temp when cruising. Do some searching in the tranny section for more ifo.

in my opinion it was kinda like having a 3 speed again when i put in the convertor that i did! don't know how much my rpm went up but it kinda felt like a 1000 rpm's
