Wonder why it's not listed F/S here?!?!?!?

That's one of those..."I just threw up in my mouth a little bit" kind of moments. I think Michael Jackson and Elton John both owned this car. I couldn't even imagine this car on Miami Vice.

It is TRUE!

:p

interesting read. Hey turbofish did you ever call him?

No. I'm hiding behind my keyboard. I figure it would be better if I confronted him in person. Now if the clown would only show up at the PRI show in Orlando I'd have it made.:o

Well I guess I pretty much shut this thread down with my post. Just like I did with Notacarlos Edelbrock thread. I tell you I should have my own TV show on SPEED. Debunking the Legends. Nobody even bothered challenging me on Smokey and his contributions to motorsports and the invention of the automobile.

NO!!!!!! There must be two twin turbo GN's out there, now. I have the ORIGINAL twin turbo FBI T-Type. I have an Aunt named Gail and she gave me $20 from her Bank (Gail Banks.......get it?) Here is a picture of "my" twin turbo FBI T-Type.

Do you have a carb hiding in there, too?

You didn't shut me down. I respect your thoughts and opinions on the matter and left it at that.

There's a camp that likes Yunick and a camp that doesn't. I can live with that.

As far as Edelbrock goes, I was just shocked to have him standing over me.

Keep on going with your infinite wisdom. I will read it.

That mural of Seven from Voyager is quite an addition.

I like Edelbrock,Yunick and even Shelby. The problem I have is that over time the truth and the stories get distorted and than the next thing you know history is entertainment. If one was to believe HOTROD magazine or the internet than you would think Smokey invented the CrossRam and installed it on minature Chevelles. I can't remember what Smoke wrote but he has a paragraph in his book on the falling out he and Vic Jr had some years back. I'm assuming the Edelbrocks were there racing the vintage Trans Am cars and Smokes old #13? It would be interesting to dig up the old records. Back before I got tied down I use to hang out at some of the SCCA events down here at Daytona and Sebring. I just happened to have heard many a T/A story from one George Takash out of Winter Park who had some success racing Camaros back in the 60's and 70's. According to him #13 wasn't a very good show case for Smokeys talent as it either didn't qualify or broke most of the time. But than for all I know George could have been distorting history too.:) The same thing could be said about Gale Banks and this CL car. If by me calling BS on something than at least I can get people to question as what might be the truth and what might be BS. I'd like to think my fellow brethen Buick owners are smart enough not to buy into the BS.;) Thanks for all the praise whether I deserve them or not.

It would be cool to have that car whether the history is true or not. I'd have to give it one heck of a make over though! De-80's it for sure!!!!!
