I just got a temp page uploaded for Jason at RJC, just the front page, we wanted it cool and mean looking without the webstore look(dull)
New Page 1
I also added small flash movie to highlight some of his products, the redesign was done for free so i didnt go hog wild and although im mostly into the graphic side of content i do understand CSS, XML
Bad thing is its very time consuming and depending on what you want such as online store and multiple pages with tons of products it can get costly.
So best advice would be to maybe do rough draft of layout, somtimes the old fashion way, print some pics, cut em and arrange them on paper at kitchen table that way you have visual of what you like and dont like
And lets say you took some pics then saved as jpeg and sent them over to say me and i needed to crop or whatever to em..once you uncompress a jpeg it frys em so pics need to be bmp but thats hard to email due to file size, PNG is better but when dealing with Jpegs i like em sent to me as large as possible that way i can resize em, doctor em up so their not as pixlated from uncompreesing them.
