What year Buick Turbo?

Ramchargers has them for $500 or so for the 86-87 cars.

And I think $200 or so for the '85s.

I cobbled an 85 model I bought by mistake to work on the '87 but I don't recommend it.

May be others out there as well. :)

Your best bet, or what I have done before is take yours apart, send off the housing and have either chromed, or powder coated.
It's a whole lot cheaper! Just don't forget to slide a little paper clip in the back housing to hold the braushes in when you pull the thing apart......ask me how I know about that..;)

cs144xx145

but you need to be clear about the case you need, the first one they sent had an ext regulator

Try Summit and the "Powermaster" series ... come in either polished or chrome. I had part numbers last year but never bought it.... was around $200 at that time.

If you want top-quality show-chrome, taking it apart and having it done by a top-notch place is the best way to go.

I sent my alternator to these guys. http://www.hotrodlane.cc/

Street And Performance polished the case and then chromed it. Came out perfect and they reassembled it. They can rebuild them as well. Believe it was in the $200 range but that was a few years ago. Highly recommended.
