Can anyone answer a pushrods ?
Was wondering if these pushrods have oil feed hole drilled thru them, I need a certain length pushrod and these are the right length but i am not sure if they have feed holes drilled in them.

Otto, call Mike at 602-938-7316. He did Len's motor and has done LOTS of big Fords.

Yes they do have the feed holes. I got my ass kicked last year building a friends 460 in his Torino. Ate 3 camshafts and this particular block had no oil pressure with a solid cam. Plenty with hydraulic lifters but very low with solid.

Ended up showing up at his house over this past winter with a hydraulic roller and life got a whole lot better!

Kinda funny thing too, we changed pushrods for the roller set up and his old 3/8" pushrods fit my new race 109 perfect! Have them on all exhaust vallves.:D

Otto, I'll send you a couple pics of this Pro Street 69 Torino.

My hrdaulic roller setup requires a 8.550 pushrod(hardened) and the ford 460 depending on who you buy them from are anywhere from 8.50 to 8.575, I can get a set of hardened ones for a decent price, But wanted to make sure htey had oil feed holes in them. Russ does your 3.8 use 3/8 or 5/16 pushrods?
I believe they are 5/16

THanks guys

8.550" Pushrods

Otto.
You can get the "Trick Flow" 5/16" CM pushrods from Summit in that length, I've used several sets of those Trick flow rods without any problems, they come in sets of a dozen and you have a few spares.
