Lord of the Rings extended Bluray problem

Anyone buy the newly released extended bluray edition? im hearing the Fellowship has poor quality. people are saying it looks blueish green. apparently the two towers and return of the king have perfect quality.

been waiting a long time for this and it seems as tho there is a real issue with the fellowship. blows....

Maybe I will wait until the issues are resolved and ask for this for Christmas.
This series a long with the original Star Wars and Alien Movies are probably the only movies I will re buy just to get in HD.

I was going to order it off amazon, glad I didn't...

its actually cheaper at best buy right now but I would hold out shane. just got off the phone with my buddy who is an ever bigger videophile then me and he states from the bluray forums he belongs to there is a lot of uproar over this so maybe they will address the issue but it seems unlikely for quite some time since all 3 are being sold as one set. really sux!

apparently all of the movies will be out at some time but I think they are releasing the new version in bluray first. im sure they will sell a complete box set but im not really a huge fan of the original series. maybe I will enjoy them more in bluray tho

That does sux... I almost buy them separate every time I go to amazon, keep thinking naw the cool set will be out before long

I'm glad im not one of those losers but I will say that when you earn what I earn a week and you don't owe anyone a cent and you're owed $40k you can spend your $ any way you want. You should get it right. Strippers prefer cocaine and crystal meth. Happy trails hobbit humper :biggrin:
