LPE 346ci LS1 TT C5 Vette runs 10.0 @147mph..... *Video*

Not bad for a true street car that has a full interior (AC, Stereo, etc.)

that car used to be out last summer all the time here in manassas. i've seen it at the track before and you never hear any turbo's, the car is really quiet but deadly. haven't seen the car at all this year, i guess i know why now. i heard he's done more upgrades to it since the inception of the first TT kit LPE put on it. sweet car, but the guy probably won't like seeing this video online as he was really secretive about the car.

Well I'm pretty sure he (the owner of the Vette) is the one that posted the video on www.ls1tech.com in the drag racing section.... His user name over there is "X" and his sig reads......

I'm sure he could make a lot of money with that thing out at the street races!

the guys that owns the car is dj self, his friend is " X ". i've met both of them and the " X " character has a C5 with big shot on it and a MTI motor from what i've heard about it. i'm guessing they don't care anymore, they used to be all secretive about their stuff before.

Yeah I guess they figure there isn't much out there that can take them...... They better watch out though cause those are the type of guys that end up getting surprised once in a while

Nisnutz, the car seems slow cause it doesn't launch very hard (1.9 60' in the video if my memory serves me correct) but going damn near 150mph that Vette is easily capable of a low 9 high 8 second pass with a good 60' in the 1.5-1.3 range!!!
