has anybody installed a translator and LS1 maf on a 84-85 TR with stock ecm?

I tried it out yesterday and nice improvement in idle and throttle responce.

Havent been able to road test it due to bad weather here right now, just seeing if anybody else has tried this yet..

I believe if you do a search you will see that someone else did this and had good results. Only thing you might want to be careful with is having the chip for the translator set up for a hot air, Bob can reburn that for you.

i want to do it in my 84 just seeing if it can be done. any suggestions for me?
please help

hey pace how did that maf and translator work out? is it worth the money?
im thinking of getting the same set up for my car

1 question

I am in the process of putting maf translator plus in my hot air but the connector on my harness that goes to my mass air flow sensor does not match the connectors that came with my translator. Do any of you that have installed it know what I have to do?

ls1 mass air

I'm using a ls1 mass air, but that is not the problem. my 84 t type hot air wiring does not match the translators+ plug. Did you have this problem or did your translator come with the correct harness?
