CLUB MEETING AGENDA SATURDAY OCT 1ST
CITY OF DALLAS CAR SHOW RAIN DATE SATURDAY OCT. 22ND
Need at least five maybe six club members to help run the event.
Arrive at 3:30 pm Registration starts at 5pm.
2-3 people to help with parking. Two people with Registration and 50/50 sales
The show cars will be in the front lot (corner of Beltline & Hillcrest) there are two entrances one on Hillcrest and one on Beltline. All show cars can enter at either entrance.
There is a Library next to the Rec center that is located at the Beltline entrance, there are several parking spots in front of the Library, and these are for the Library only.
Please only one space per car, we need to make sure we have plenty of room.
There is one entrance (off Beltline) to the back parking lot; this lot will be for all spectators and non-show cars.
All proceeds go to the Kids! Awards to Go discounted our awards to $200.00 for this show. We will spend about $100.00 on door prizes plus the Rec center will throw in some door prizes as well. Tyler will DJ the event at a discounted rate of $150.00. This is a $450.00 donation to this show by our club.
This show is not included in our Show points. There are no club classes; you may enter any class you choose so long as your car fits in that class.

Notes: David Newton, Rick Kinworthy, Robert Davison, Patrick Smith, Catherine Roberts, Morgan Farrington. There were a few others that raised there had to help out at this show, sorry I don’t remember who they all were.
LAST TWO CHUCKS SHOWS WILL BE AT MIDAY RD AND PARK BLVD IN CARROLLTON.
This is a smaller lot, so show up early. I’m not sure about where we will be setting up?
We may be outside? Regular show time 5pm.
Will have to speak to Steve Barnett, about where we will be next year?
Two possible locations are Midway & Park and Coit & Arapaho.

NOBLE EVENT OCT. 29TH IN NOBLE, OKLAHOMA
A caravan will be meeting up to go to Noble at 12 Noon at the Loves Truck Stop on I35 in Denton. If you want to leave with this caravan be there no later than 12:15pm.
Most members will be staying at Ruby’s Inn in Purcell. This is about 10 miles from the track.
We will be cooking at Noble again this year we need at least two grills. I (David N.) will be bringing one, if you can bring one let the club know.
The club will supply food and drink for all LSPBC members and families.
The cost will be in the one to two hundred dollar range.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken etc. If you want something special bring it, we’ll cook it.
Speaking of cooking we need a member that is not racing to help cook ? Anyone?
Notes: The club will furnish food and drink. I will bring a Grill and someone else is bringing a grill. Robert and Patrick are cooking.
There will be convoy leaving for Noble on Friday at 12noon at the Loves Truck stop in Denton. If you want to join us be there no later than 1215pm.
CLUB DYNO EVENT
A date has not been scheduled for this event. Oct. 22nd was our first choice but that was taken when our City of Dallas was cancelled Sept. 24th. Available dates are Nov. 5, Nov. 12 and Nov. 26. Club member Robert Downey, is our contact for A&S in Keller. We can go there again with the same set up as last year for $350.00. This was a very successful event last year.
We need to set a date and decide if we want to go back to A&S?
Rules are the same as last year everyone gets at least 3 pulls. Extra pulls will be available if time permits.
Notes: Nov. 12th is the tentative date. Stay tuned for more details. It will be held at A&S. Same as last year.
RETURN TO TEMPLE ’05 X BASH
LONE STAR BUICK WINTER BASH! TIME: 11:00am till the track closes
DATE: Saturday – December 3rd 2005 Place: Temple Academy Dragway
Cost: $8 Spectate (per person) $20 to Race. Contact for this event is Phil Green.
There is $500.00 in prize money setting in the clubs bank account that was from the sponsors of this event that got rained out earlier in the year. There is also track money to be won. Track money is $300.00 to winner of the event, $150.00 for runner up and $50.00 for the semis.
Buick money is for the Buick’s that go the furthest in competition so if you don’t win track money you can still win Buick money!

3rd place $100.00

LSPBC XMAS PARTY ‘05
Where? Morgan Farrington has offered to use his home again this year. Thanks Morgan
Is there anyone else that would like to have it at his or her house? Or have another suggestion?
We will be voting on Officers for the New Year. Club dues will be $30 per year and run from Jan. 01 to Dec. 31st. There is no pro rating of club dues.
We will present our awards for the TOP 4 club racers and our TOP show winners.
Dates available are Dec. 10th and 17th.
Notes: It will be at Morgan’s home again this year on Dec 10th. Time TBA Stay tuned.
CLUB TREASURY REPORT
The club treasury report was prepared by our Treasurer Morgan Farrington, and will be reported by club President Rick Kinworthy.

FALL SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL BUICK SHOW, 2005 EDITION
The FALL SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL BUICK SHOW, 2005 Edition, will take place at John Thornhill Buick in Waxahachie, TX. Saturday Oct. 8th. The dealership is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of US287 and I-35E in northwestern Waxahachie, TX. Host chapter for the event is the North Texas Chapter, BCA.
Show Registration will open at approximately 8:30am and will close at 11:00am, with judging starting soon thereafter. Ballots will be counted at approximately 2:00pm. The Awards Presentation will begin at 2:30pm. After the show is completed, it is possible that a caravan to a local eatery for an “after-show wind-down” meal will take place. The ultimate destination will be announced at the show.
The show, as it was last time, will be peer-judged. The number of classes is still in consideration.
For those who might desire another activity, there are many antique shops in Waxahachie. Details of a Saturday morning shopping tour to these venues will be announced at the show.
In order to be a “registered participant” of this show, those registering for the event will need to be valid BCA members. Registration will entitle the registrant to access a light noon meal provided by the dealership. Registrants may also opt to display their Buick in the judged show or Display Class area.
NOTE: For all LSPBC members: If you are a non-BCA member, and would like to attend and show your Buick, it would be just display only. You would receive a free lunch and dash plaque.
Notes: If you would like to show off your Buick, it would be display only! Free lunch will be provided. If you want to go let me know so I give the BCA club a headcount.
