Hi i have a set of M@A heads with 1.94 Intake and 1.6 exhaust valves. I tried to install them on a stage 1 3.8 block and at about .250 lift the intake valve hits the side of the bore, which is 3.810. The question is can i notch the side of the cyl walls, or are the heads totally not useable. Please help i am really stuck on this.

I had an ex Gallina 3.8 Stage II with M&A heads on it. In that application Kenny Duttweiler did notch the block for valve clearance. As long as you have a head gasket with a large enough flame ring dia. it should all work.
